Cinematic Studio Camera

The Panasonic HC-X2 is our camera of choice. The picture quality is amazing and let’s the performance shine through without any overly produced, distracting aesthetics.

Session Runners aka Reader/Camera Operator Extraordinaires

Our session runners are all casting professionals. They will read with you and ensure we get the takes you feel great about. Our team wants to respect the choices you’ve brought into the room but are also there to be a second set of eyes and help fine tune performance.

Studio Audio

Our Sennheiser microphone will capture the detail, nuance and intimacy of your performance.

Studio Lighting

Developed by a professional cinematographer, our lighting rig will make your performance pop and not melt under harsh studio lights. Our lights are: Godox Litemon Bi-Color LED lights, all with diffusion panels making sure you are evenly lit and not overly shiny.

Prompter

Last minute audition? 0 time to learn your lines? Not a problem! Send us the sides ahead of time and we can get them up on a prompter so you aren’t buried in the script and can cheat to camera.

Easy and Flexible Scheduling

Big Home Studios is run by a robust team of dedicated professionals. Given the size of the studio, we are able to accommodate the time that works best for you!

Quick Turnaround Editing

Based on preference, we can either edit with you in the room during your appointment or send to you after the session in case you want to use every minute to getting the performance just right. Whatever works best for you! We will make sure that files are compressed and conform to the specs of your upload site.

Zoom Callback Sessions (1 Hour Minimum)

Do you have a big callback coming up and want to avoid interruptions from construction, pets, kids — or all three? Big Home Studios is fully setup to offer high quality Zoom sessions in a professional studio environment. You’ll be setup so you can see the director on a monitor so you can focus on any redirection rather than the lighting, camera angle, sound, picture orientation etc! Our camera operator’s got your back!
